Information verification

Make the evidence behind a supplier or product claim clear.

Supplier and product information needs a visible source, date and verification scope. This standard helps buyers understand what has been reviewed and what still needs confirmation.

01

Identity

Record the legal or trading name, information source and review date. Do not infer manufacturing status from a profile or brochure.

02

Product

Attribute specifications to a dated datasheet, manual or supplier response. Mark missing or conflicting fields as unconfirmed.

03

Market readiness

Check destination-specific documentation, electrical and radio requirements, import conditions and product classification with qualified parties.

04

Support

Ask where installation, training, spare parts, repairs and warranty claims are handled; capture the written scope and limitations.

Verification is scoped, not absolute. “Documents reviewed” is not the same as “factory audited”; “supplier stated” is not the same as “independently tested.” Any badge should explain its criteria.
